SERANG – The Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT), Yandri Susanto, has called for serious commitment from all parties in updating the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN).
He emphasized that up-to-date data is the foundation for the central government in planning development, distributing aid, and providing legal certainty for every citizen in need.
"This is our keyword for ensuring aid is precisely targeted. Accurately targeted in village development, precisely targeted in empowerment, and so forth. Data is highly dynamic; people pass away, babies are born. Some fall into poverty, while others move out of it," explained Minister Yandri during his remarks at the DTSEN Socialization event at the Bai Mahdi Sholeh Ma'mun Islamic Boarding School, Serang Regency, Banten, Thursday (March 12, 2026).
Furthermore, Minister Yandri added that collaboration between the Ministry of Villages (Kemendes PDT) and the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) is crucial to accelerating the eradication of extreme poverty, finalizing valid recipient data, and effectively empowering village communities.
Therefore, this synergy is a concrete and absolute step toward ensuring that social assistance (Bansos) reaches the correct recipients and integrating village assistants with Family Hope Program (PKH) assistants for community empowerment.
"Alhamdulillah, today the Ministry of Villages and the Ministry of Social Affairs are collaborating on the President's priority programs. Why collaborate? Because it is impossible to do this individually. Working in silos is difficult, especially regarding data management," Minister Yandri elaborated.
Additionally, Minister Yandri noted that through Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 4 of 2025, DTSEN is mandated as the single data reference for all ministries, agencies, and local governments, ensuring there are no longer data discrepancies between institutions.
Inaccurate data can lead to eligible citizens not receiving aid, while those who are capable do. Consequently, DTSEN serves as the solution to ensure that assistance is received by the correct targets, including residents in the most remote villages.
"Alhamdulillah, President Prabowo issued Inpres Number 4 of 2025 regarding the National Socio-Economic Single Data, which, God willing, will be accurate, accountable, and validatable," he concluded.
The event was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf; the Regent of Serang, Ratu Rachmatu Zakiyah; as well as Senior Executive and Administrative Officers from both ministries and local government agencies (OPD).
