JAKARTA – The Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT), Yandri Susanto, alongside Deputy Minister Ahmad Riza Patria, attended a Joint Assembly and the Halalbilhalal gathering for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriyah at the Ministry’s Kalibata office parking area, Monday (March 30, 2026).

During the event, Minister Yandri invited the extended family of the Ministry to resume their dedication to the Nation and State after celebrating the Eid holidays with their relatives in their hometowns.

"Let us continue working intelligently and sincerely to ensure that President Prabowo Subianto's programs are fully implemented for the community," said the Minister.

Primarily, Minister Yandri highlighted programs related to the sixth Asta Cita (the President's Strategic Visions): Building from the Villages and the Grassroots for Economic Equality and Poverty Eradication. He emphasized that the success of this vision is essentially the success of the nation.

Minister Yandri called on the entire Ministry family to support national strategic programs targeting villages, such as the Merah Putih Village Cooperative and the Free Nutritious Meals initiative.

"Let us safeguard these programs by providing clear and detailed information—especially when facing public cynicism—by maximizing social media to ensure these programs run smoothly," he stated.

Furthermore, he requested all Ministry staff to deepen their understanding of the 12 National Priority Actions so they can contribute effectively to resolving village development issues. The Ministry family was also encouraged to maintain continuous collaboration and cooperation to achieve the Ministry's work programs.

"Happy Eid al-Fitr. I seek your forgiveness for any mistakes or shortcomings during our interactions," Minister Yandri concluded.

Following the assembly, the event continued with a friendship gathering (silaturahmi) between Minister Yandri, Deputy Minister Ariza, and the entire extended family of the Ministry of Villages and PDT.

Also in attendance were the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Taufik Madjid; Inspector General Masyhudi; DWP Advisor Eliza Sumarlin; Chairperson of DWP Kemendes Irma Yulia; and other Senior Executive and Administrative Officers within the Ministry.
