JAKARTA – The Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT), Yandri Susanto, expressed high appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto's policy regarding Fuel (BBM).
"We must be grateful for President Prabowo's policy not to increase the price of subsidized fuel," stated Minister Yandri during his remarks at the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with several institutions at the Ministry’s office, Tuesday (April 28, 2026).
"He is defending the common people by maintaining the current subsidized fuel prices," Minister Yandri added.
The Minister emphasized that the Government remains consistent in its commitment to siding with the people by keeping subsidized fuel costs stable.
"Those who feel the impact of subsidized fuel prices most significantly are the common people, including those living in villages," he noted.
Minister Yandri also invited all village residents to pray for President Prabowo’s health and well-being as he strives to lead the Indonesian nation.
"As the President's assistants, we are ready to follow and obey (Samina Wa Atho'na)," the Minister concluded.
Minister Yandri, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions, Ahmad Riza Patria, attended the signing of MoUs and Cooperation Agreements with several entities, including the Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of Youth and Arts Practitioners, the Ministry of Transmigration, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), PT PLN (Persero), PT PLN EPI (Persero), PT Daya Mandiri Production, the Central Board of the Indonesian Islamic Student Association (PII), ITB, and UGM in the Operational Room.
Also in attendance were the Presidential Special Envoy for Youth and Arts, Raffi Farid Ahmad; the Deputy Minister of Transmigration, Viva Yoga Mauladi; and the President Director of PT PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo.
